Technical bits
Glasnost is delivered as a service via the Internet. It is hosted and maintained by ourselves in Tier 1 data centres, ensuring robust redundancy and high availability (99.9% guaranteed).
As an Adobe Flex application it requires Flash Version 9 to be installed on the users computer (98% already have this) but otherwise nothing else apart from a web browser. It works equally well on PC's or Macs.
Every client has their own database to ensure data security. All documents and images are stored in a private directory not accessible by public search engines etc, so anything uploaded can only be accessed via Glasnost.
Security and Access Rights
New system users can only be added by an administrator (set up initailly by ourselves). Each user is then given rights dependant on their specific roles.
