In Contact management you can add a Task at the Company or Contact level – so something that need to be done with or for a Company in general or for a particular person. In Project Management you add a task to a particular project. In both case you can add attachments and assign the task to one or more users.

On the homepage of Project and Contact Management the default setting will display any Tasks that have been assigned to you, either as part of a project or in relation to a Company or Contact. As you drill down to specific Projects, or Companies or Contacts the Tasks become particular to whatever you are looking at.

Additional options are available so you can view ALL Tasks relating to ANY Project, Company or Contact, plus you can view all current Tasks in Spreadsheet mode in your browser.

Document Management

Keeping track of documents on a personal basis can be tricky enough - with many people involved it becomes harder still. Which is why throughout Glasnost we make it very easy to add documents and tag and categorise them in such a way that they will be easy to find whenever you need to.

On the hompages of both Contact and Project management you will find a list of the latest documents that have been added - by any user - to the system. As with Tasks drilling down to Company, Contact or Project level will refine the list to become particular to whatever you are looking at.

So you always see whatever else is going on and have quick and easy access to the documents most relevant to you.

And because all the documents are accessible through a web browser you can access them wherever and whenever you like.

Image Management

Glasnost has a very elegant method of viewing images in your galleries, either one by one or as part of a slideshow. Access to galleries can be tightly controlled on a gallery by gallery basis. Each image includes a viewing history.

Galleries can be linked to one or more projects or to one or more companies in the contact management System.

Online Now is an IM type feature that allows you to invite Glasnost users to be 'Chat' partners, see if they are online and then 'Chat' back and forth wtih them - in real time.

As well as being able to chat you can exchange documents easily. Simply browse to attach a document and it'll show up to the person they are chatting with. They can accept or decline it there and then.

You can also search the 'Chat' Archive - either by keyword or by just perusing your list of 'Chats'. The full transcript of each 'Chat' is available to view, inclusive of date and time stamps.
